Watching soccer now! Sin VS Vie. Vietnam has had many close shots to getting at least 4 goals within the first 40minutes but they just kept missing it. Poor thing.. And the young lions are poor at defending tonight and they kept giving away the ball. Macam paham!

On another note, Zar and I did not celebrate our anni this year. We somehow didn't feel the need to do so this time around. Partly cause we're broke (he had to pay for repairing his broken bike and I went mad over cameras, ehem). But I think I heard him mention that it will be a delayed celebration (right, hun?).

So, yesterday, he said "happy anniversary baby, where's my cake?". And this afternoon he wished me "happy birthday!" Gila already.

What have I got to say eh?

Well, I've recently bought 3 toy cameras, 1 of which was a birthday present. The other two are these..

That's supposed to be a picture of a cat with a lampshade collar! So cute right! Oh, its just abt 1.5 X 2 inches big and it uses 110 films which develops into tiny negatives, which I have yet to print. =\

And I got my first HOLGA okay! In bright yellow tho! Awesomest. This one uses 35mm films (the normal ones we see in supermarkets, provision shops) comes with coloured flash!! and fisheye lenss!! Actually, it not with me right now yet, but I've bought it! =] Can't wait to play with it yea!

We all (those working in service line) know sometimes, that it is hard to please a customer. But today, I went to Sim Lim and got really cheesed off by the responses I got from the salesperson. I wasn't even being difficult!! I was looking at an Asus mini laptop and asked the salesman for any pamphlets for the specifications. He gave me one and read to me the details etc. Then..

Salesman: Oh, do you want to take a look at the Acer ones? I highly recommend them.

Me: Sure!

Salesman: Oh, this Acer one is better!

Me: *Curious* Really? How is it different from the Asus one?

Salesman: Er..er...erm.. *for abt 5sec* Actually, not much different lah. Ya, er..er..*another 3 sec* actually the same.

Me: *Unconvinced* Huh? Then why you say better than Asus?

Salesperson: *Blank face* Er.. cause Acer not many problems..

Me: Oh.. wahh, Asus alot of problems ah??? (abit worried for some friends who just bought Asus products)

Salesman: Uh.. no lah, actually both the same. But Acer better cause a lot of customers buy this brand..

Me: Heh.. like that one ah..

Then, I walked out of the shop. Seriously, man! How you gonna sell when you don't even know your products!? I think he's just one of the many.. but then again.. its SimLim!

We had a mini party over at his place.

THE COMPETITION IS OVER. We're waiting for the results. Amelia and I are not gonna make it to the top. Very slim chance of even gettin top 3. But honestly, I'm slowly accepting that. Not putting any hopes up this time around.

But that's not all. I've found friends whom I can laugh, cry, work and share my problems with comfortably. And the most awesome coaches who are always there for us who provide us with everything that we need: FOOD, plain paper, more food, tissue paper. But greatest things too: hugs and lots of love!

Amelia and I were overloaded sponges yesterday. A little squeeze and we couldn't stop the tears.

No trophy to bring back but the wonderful memories we shared, I'll never forget.

Noone said it was gonna be easy. The full time training is really draining us and it's not even 2 weeks. I hope I won't burn out. Alot of things have happened throughout the 2 weeks. Fair share of good and bad stuff. Sometimes, I feel that neither being good nor doing your best is enough, we gotta be EXTRAORDINARY to pull through some of the situations that the coaches put us in. Today was the ultimate. I only hope that things can only get better and I trust myself enough that it will!

I've found my "refresh" button. 21 days away from the real deal.

WSS. Full time training has started now. Daily, 9-6. Rabak sia. It's been 3 days only and we're already mentally drained. My partner claimed our (mine and hers) engines are just starting to warm up abit. I sincerely hope that's only true.

We went for a walkwalk session this evening. Really refreshing to get out of that stinky room and to be able to breathe in the humid, warm air outside and feel the heat from the sun on my skin.
