idiot. imbecile. moron. stupid.
Anyway, my mom got pissed. And I actually don't blame her. Cause I was being an idiot. She cooked dinner, set the table and we ate. I finished first, saw that the sink was flooded with a few unwashed and oily stuff and I washed (only) my plate. So my (fake) intention was to wait for the water to drain and then wash the other stuff. But really, I just wanted to escape the washing. People know just how much I hate to wash plates. You can ask me to do laundy, mop floor, etc. but I'd rather not do the dishes, as much as I love to play with water. And then, I heard THE scream and the long speech after that. And I felt bad. BUT I STILL HATE TO WASH THE DISHES!!
Sorry mak.

exams.
Anyways, today I went for dental and got red and black donuts. WOOOOH! My dentist put on the units thing and strapped my teeth from one end to the other so tightly and my gums are extra sensitive today. So hard to...... erm, do anything that requires the mouth, like eating and drinking.
Zar and I didn't have any plans for the day yet, so I suggested we both go HSA to donate blood. Filled up forms, medical check-up done. Went to the blood testing area to see if our hb levels were acceptable. I have low iron.. So I wasn't really surprised that mine was at 12.3. (Acceptable level is 12.5) So SOMEONE laughed at me because I got rejected. And when his turn came, guess what? TEN POINT NINE!! Damn gay can?
So we went back to see the doctor.
Me: *Surrenders back the rejected form*
Dr: Ahhh, okay come in and sit. *looks at Zar* Yours okay right?
Me: NO! Worst la, 10.9.
Dr: HAHAHHA! THIS IS INTERESTING!
After that, we walked down the hall of shame and literally LOL-ed.
Lesson learnt: PLEASE EAT A MEAL BEFORE YOU GO DONATE BLOOD.
Decided to explore a bit of Chinatown after that and got bored really quick. But there was this coolio shop selling adventure equipment like a SOLAR SHOWER BAG (the bag heats up water inside it so you can have a warm shower up in the mountains)!!
Okay, the end.
PS: Abeeeeeee, I thought it was sweet when you did that thing with my letter. =]

my cat
Last night, I dreamt of him for the 3rd time. The first time, I watched him run for the window and jump out. The second time, I dreamt that he came back, with alot of kittens.
And last night, I was holding him, patting his coat, I could really feel his fur in my hands. And then, my mum looked at me and said "B, istighfar banyak-banyak.." And when I looked at my hands again, I was actually touching nothing...

LULIAN.
Did you guys see me on tv?? On SURIA actually. We (Sharan, Marie & I) rehearsed for so many days prior to the real shooting day and even on the day itself! The interview went well though! I took a few takes cause during the 1st take, I turned my head and pointed to the mannequin at the back and the cameraman, sounding kinda pissed off, said something like,"No need to turn around! It's already in the background!" The 2nd time, I errr-ahhh-errr too many times we had to re-shoot. And, I got it almost right.. the 3rd time.. and here it is!
So how? I looked DAMN JUBES RIGHT? (Sharan's favourite word; used to describe anything and everything)
What the whole newsy thing is about was to actually promote NYP's simulated-based learning (SBL) for us, student nurses. And we're the first school to be using the child and infant mannequins!
And these mannequins are waaay too cool, cause they can talk (voices coming from lectures or the technicians), cry WITH TEARS!, simulate drooling and have brain juices discharges oooozing out of their ears! They also have all the pulse points, which are pulsating VERY obviously. And and and! We could actually put our stethoscopes over its chest to hear lung sounds, breath sounds and even the heartbeat! what about bowel sounds? OF COURSE! That too! So if you wanna be working with these mannequins, pls do join us in Nursing!
Basically, what I said during the interview was about how these mannequins help me perform my skills more realistically just like how I'd do it on a real-life patient in the hospitals. If you paused (for whatever reasons, maybe to scrutinise my face or try to see what colour my braces are for this month) during my part, you can actually see that they had a typo with regard to the course im taking now! "Kejuruteraan" instead of "Kejururawatan"!!! ANGRY +++! (Engineering instead of Nursing) I think it's pretty obvious we are nurses.. Maybe they quickly run through my part and didnt notice the mistake.. Still!! NABS!
Wahh, such a long entry. I forgot to mention that the four of us bananas passed our BCLS practical and theory! And we are qualified life-savers, I think? Don't go collapsing on me just to test my skills k? CHEY, action!
Can i just end off by adding 2 more features of the mannequin? Okay, the pupils can react to light (constrict/dilate) and the tongue can swell up too!
Okay bye!
