hello world! wheeeeheeee!! sorry ive been gone for so long.. haha, dunno why. it's like you're in a phase where you dont want people to know what you've been up to. and kinda like cutting yourself away from the rest of the world. erm? haha, aka LAZY to update.

Short updates:

1. Bf will be taken away to ulu world for training to become world's finest soldier.
2. I was majorly ill 3 weeks ago!
3. I'm still at Practical7. Uh oh, gotta go down to CDC to top up $$ and book practical for next week.
4. I did smth crazy to my hair. And I'm not ready to face the world yet. Hope it tones down just nicely so I will look near normal (or natural) when school reopens!
5. Watched OCEAN'S 13 and SHREK 3! Go watch people. Ratings: 10 big buckets of sweet popcorn for both! =D
6. I'm in NYP pursuing Diploma in Nursing, if you don't already know.
7. I collected toilet paper (aka alevels cert) yesterday. I like the way they file up everything for you. Thanks a million to MR CHOW for the pleasant testimonial! =D If only the results were nicer... =\ (No, I'm not regretting the fact that i didnt study SUPER hard.)
8. I LOVE MY NEW FRIENDS IN SCHOOL. =] girl power, you!!

Hello world! Eh, sorry, so long nv update! Ha-ha! Anyway, I just came back from KL! Like last night.. Hahah, yes, KL again. Didn't do much shopping. Bought useless stuff that could have been bought over here in Singapore. For example, I bought pyjamas, blusher brush, scrunchie, hairband, make-up and some medical kit.

I've found a job! Starts today. SPINELLI baby! Come find me at harbourfront ok people! I think Tower 1, not too sure...! Heheh..

Okay, if you don't already know, my birthday is coming! HEEEEEEH! =D

My wound's drying up and there's pus already, which is good news! Just so that the wound has a layer of something and not just bare! And the burnt skin is peeling, which is good too, because they were crispy and black.

It's lunch time now. And then I've got to rush off to harbourfront! Take care y'all! =D

Hello world! It's been a long time yeah? Well, I'm back!

I've completed my prac3 just now and I'll be off to prac4 sometime next week? Haven't booked yet. Figure 8 was a lil tough for me. Poor eyeline really affects the way your bike goes in the course. BUUUUUUT!! I did it! In 10.6 secs! Yeah baby! (You can't go above 11 secs to pass.)

Anyway, it was finally my turn to be tested. There was the instructor, let's call him J, standing at the side with a stopwatch in his hand. And, ZOOM!, off I went. Did it perfectly until the end of the course where I was supposed to make a 90deg turn and brake. It was when I was just about to do that turn when J was telling me the timing, at the same time. Naturally, I applied the rear brake lever (beneath the right foot, remember?) a lil too hard and the bike skidded. One of the most important rules in riding is not to apply brakes while cornering.. and I did just that. Therefore, the bike fell on the left. And remember my right foot? Oh yeah, it was now on top of the bike. My jeans kind of rode up and there was that BARE SKIN which had to be in contact with the engine! And then I got off the fallen bike and pulled back the jeans to discover a white patch (the size of the 'O' you form with your index finger and thumb), just above my right ankle.

Like WTF? White skin?? And I just discovered that's THIRD DEGREE BURN!

Btw, fyi, 1st deg: pink to red (sunburn), 2nd deg: entirely red 3rd deg: WHITE, brown, yellow, black and lastly, 4th deg: blackened skin

Anyway, J helped to park my bike and I followed him to the tap to rinse my wound. Then, I went to the sitting area while he got to the office to get the first aid kit. The whole experience while sitting there was so _____________. It went something like this..

J takes some facial cotton swabs to dry the wound.

J: Okay, so how?
S: Erm? I don't know. Cover it?
J: You sure you want to cover?
S: I think so... I'm sure you have some basic first aid skills????(insert Heh expression)
J: Ya lah, I have.. Okay, cover to protect it from dust. So you won't get infection.

J takes out a cotton bud and used it to scrape some ZAMBUK. And there I was, cringing in pain, telling myself that that thing is very heaty. Bloody hell... Then, he took out a bigger gauze to cover the wound.

J: You want the smooth side or the rough side? The rough side will stick to the wound when it's dried but the smooth one won't.
S: Er.. okaaaay.. the smooth one.

He takes out the tape and asks again.

J: You want the brown one or the white one? If you use the brown one and then you want to take it off, your leg hair will be plucked off.
S: The white one.. -__________-"

By this time, I was thinking, "Waddeheck?" Why he ask this kind of questions? And as I was telling Fad, was he waiting for me to make the wrong choice? Crazy bugger...

Anyway, I continued to ride after that.. And I passedddddddddddddddd!!!

Now, I'm fine... the wound is covered and I'm limping abit.

Zar's 4+ hours away. He's all the way in KL now. If they did manage to go there this morning from Malacca, then I think they should be in KL by now. Oh... I miss that person. Now I know how it feels like. I know how he felt when I was away in KL. Hahah.. "Felt like I was single. Not nice." -He said. =D But you'll be back tmrw right!?!?!? With lots of things for me! =X

I came over this morning to check on Cookie! I tell you, I think she was damn hungry. She ate 2 cans of the wet food. Monster la that one. Sorry, I cannot clear her 'toilet'. I'm already dressed so nicely for my Shaqiff's Cukur Rambut (Shave Hair Ceremony) later. Don't wanna go there smelling of shit. Hahah!

OH! Just remembered! Today's the 1st of January! -Throws confetti- Hmmm, new year resolutions? No need la. Just like yesteryears, I'll forget about what resolutions I have for that year. Okay la, for this year, my aim is to pass TP test by March-April! And get my bike by June-July? Too ambitious or not? Can right! =]]]]]

I wonder if anyone even went to the countdown party at Vivo. Because got Taufik and Hady! =\ Of course, I wouldn't have gone even if it wasn't Hari Raya Haji yesterday. Why? Don't know lei. I prefer small private affairs to crowded parties like those. Well, even though they tried to lure me with the fireworks display. It's always the same old thing that they show la..

Hello world! I don't really know what exactly I've been up to since the last ALevel paper. I mean it's supposed to be study-free days but the problem is that I haven't found a good substitute for that yet. I mean, I remember all of us complaining before the exams that we're gonna watch tv, go out, play games till we rot after November. Okay sure. I'm done with all that. How much can one go out or play? That has to end eventually. Now, I'm jobless. No company wants to employ me. Boo.

RANDOM!

1. My nephew turned 1 month old! And I'm missing him now..

2. Zar and I went to JB yesterday to watch movie and eat our hearts out! Night at the Museum was super funny! And we junked at DUNKIN'DONUTS, NasiLemak at Larkin, lunched at KotaRaya and had a superdelicious Marshmellow Chocolate Fudge cake at SecretRecipe! I went for a manicure too! =D

3. Today is a bedok-hg-raffles-serangoon-hg-raffles-hg-punggol-hg-bedok day! I have to run errands for my mum. I'm grateful for the bus concession! (Although my ezlink will expire in a few days time.. Damn!)

Hallo hallo!!! Miss me?? Hahah, sorry hor. For not updating for so long. I don't have a comp larh. And now I'm using my sis's bf's laptop.

Anyway, nothing much is interesting around here. Hmmm, I got my hair rebonded during KL trip and diy-dyed it when I got back here. There's really alot to buy down there, as in in KL. Just that we had too little time and in the end I didn't buy anything for myself except for funny and lame bubblegums and (as Fad calls it) "tamer hair". Tadaaa! That's it. But I managed to grab a ManU jersey for Zar! HAHAH! He loves it, youuuu! =X

Then, it was the SOCKS PARTY which I was looking forward to like mad!!!! It wasn't a complete success in the sense that we didn't manage to go to the botanical garden because it was raining THE WHOLE DAY in Singapore last Tuesday. Besides that, not everyone turned up in socks. =\ Imaginary socks cannot be counted, Fad.. =D But, it was not a party at all, shall I admit? I mean, we didn't have lots of food and drinks. Opps, we did have some food but no drinks! Hahahah! And the birthday cake? Oh, we threw it away. Because it had ashes and dust from the sparklers candles and the cake itself tasted funny? But hey, its the thought that counts! Overall, it was so lovely to be with you guys! Cannot wait for the next party! 010207 okayyy?!?!??!?!?!? =D

Hello world.. tis gonna be the last entry that im writing. till i get a new comp for myself. gonna hafta give back this darling tablet back to the school tmrw and im feeling sucky about that. so yeah, you guys wont really be hearing much from me thru tis blog. but it will still be open of course, the tagboard and all. but i will try to update as often as possible and at every opportunity. hehe. i can go to zar's place once in a (long) while to use his comp and update or i will force him to help me upload photos here. =D

anyway, i got my first pair of crocs! =D say what you want la! ugly or childish or what. i still think its pretty! oh, its the mary-jane model and it's goldddddd! and the best thing is.... it's freeeeee! <333

i love to give surprises! i love to plan them in my head, imagine the whole scenario and the surprised person's facial expression! and i lovelovelove it when the surprise turns out exactly like how i imagined it to be, or even better! right now, i have smth in my mind. don't wait for it or it will never come! and don't keep thinking if it will be for you because it may not. =D

next, i don't understand why some things happen all the time. it got me so angry and pissed just talking about it or thinking of it. is it anyone's fault at all that things like that happen? could it be you? i don't really care. it happens all the time anyway. and you add redundant information. what are you trying to imply? it's not my fault. it's not their fault. neither am i saying it's yours. but then again, who really knows?

it's the school's prom on tuesday. and im not going. because im a loser and im a wet blanket. actually, its more the company, or the lack of it? i don't want to spend my money on smth which i think i will not like. and no, dear classmates, im not saying that i don't enjoy spending time with you guys. its just that.. i dunno. smth intangible that is not there. it's not the magical feeling that i used to get back then. i noe, we should really move on. but hey, deeeeeeep down in you, you noe that you long to stay somewhere forever no matter how much better things may be in your current life. and besides personal reasons like these, its also the financial part. oh wells...

which brings to my next pt. i need money for my bike practicals. ive applied to so many places to get a job but none has called back to say they want to employ me. =( anyway, i have prac tmrw again. pray for me that i will pass it tmr and that it wont rain please. and please pray for me that no bangla or makcik will ride in my way. thank you.

"They kill mice," Sophie said.

"Ah, but they is not killing their own kind," the BFG said. "Human beans is the only animals that is killing their own kind."

"Don't poisonous snakes kill each other?" Sophie asked. She was searching desperately for another creature that behaved as badly as the human.

"Even poisnowse snakes is never killing each other," the BFG said. "Nor is the most fearsome creatures like tigers and rhinostossterisses. None of them is ever killing their own kind. Has you ever thought about that?"

Sophie kept silent.

"I is not understanding human beans at all," the BFG said. "You is a human bean and you is saying it is grizzling and horrigust for giants to be eating human beans. Right or left?"

"Right," Sophie said.

"But human beans is squishing each other all the time," the BFG said. "They is shootling guns and going up in aerioplanes to drop their bombs on each other's heads every week. Human beans is always killing other human beans.

He was right. Of course he was right and Sophie knew it. She was beginning to wonder whether humans were actually any better than giants.
